These narrations are grouped by whom they address, so any one chip shows only one side of a relationship — the duties owed in return are filed under the other party. Read together, not alone. Rights in Islam are mutual, and nothing here permits anyone to compel, humiliate or harm another person. If someone is being harmed, that comes first: please seek help from someone qualified.
👪Parentsجَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: مَنْ أَحَقُّ النَّاسِ بِحُسْنِ صَحَابَتِي؟ قَالَ: أُمُّكَ. قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ. قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ. قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَبُوكَ.
A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked, "Who among people is most deserving of my good company?" He said, "Your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He said, "Then your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He said, "Then your mother." He asked, "Then who?" He said, "Then your father."
👪Parentsرِضَا الرَّبِّ فِي رِضَا الْوَالِدِ، وَسَخَطُ الرَّبِّ فِي سَخَطِ الْوَالِدِ.
The pleasure of the Lord is in the pleasure of the parent, and the anger of the Lord is in the anger of the parent.
👪Parentsرَغِمَ أَنْفُ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ، ثُمَّ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ أَبَوَيْهِ عِنْدَ الْكِبَرِ، أَحَدَهُمَا أَوْ كِلَيْهِمَا، فَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ.
May he be humbled, may he be humbled, may he be humbled — the one who finds his parents in old age, one or both of them, and does not enter Paradise (by serving them).
👪Parentsالْوَالِدُ أَوْسَطُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأَضِعْ ذَلِكَ الْبَابَ أَوِ احْفَظْهُ.
The parent is the middle gate of Paradise; so if you wish, neglect that gate, or preserve it.
👪Parentsإِنَّ مِنْ أَبَرِّ الْبِرِّ صِلَةَ الرَّجُلِ أَهْلَ وُدِّ أَبِيهِ بَعْدَ أَنْ يُوَلِّيَ.
Among the greatest acts of dutifulness is that a man keeps ties with the friends of his father after he has passed away.
👪Parentsمَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ، وَيُنْسَأَ لَهُ فِي أَثَرِهِ، فَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ.
Whoever wishes that his provision be expanded and his lifespan extended, let him keep good ties with his kin.
💍Spousesخَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي.
The best of you is the one who is best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family.
💍Spousesلَا يَفْرَكْ مُؤْمِنٌ مُؤْمِنَةً، إِنْ كَرِهَ مِنْهَا خُلُقًا رَضِيَ مِنْهَا آخَرَ.
Let no believing man hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her traits he will be pleased with another.
💍Spousesاسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ خَيْرًا.
Treat women well — take my advice regarding kindness to them.
💍Spousesأَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا، وَخِيَارُكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ.
The most complete of the believers in faith are those with the best character, and the best of you are those who are best to their wives.
💍Spousesوَإِنَّكَ لَنْ تُنْفِقَ نَفَقَةً تَبْتَغِي بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا أُجِرْتَ عَلَيْهَا، حَتَّى مَا تَجْعَلُ فِي فِي امْرَأَتِكَ.
You will never spend anything seeking thereby the Face of Allah but that you are rewarded for it, even the morsel you place in your wife’s mouth.
💍Spousesتُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ لِأَرْبَعٍ: لِمَالِهَا، وَلِحَسَبِهَا، وَلِجَمَالِهَا، وَلِدِينِهَا، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ.
A woman is married for four things: her wealth, her lineage, her beauty and her religion. So choose the religious one, may your hands be rubbed with dust (i.e. prosper).
🧑Youthيَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ، مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمُ الْبَاءَةَ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَغَضُّ لِلْبَصَرِ وَأَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ.
O young people! Whoever among you is able to marry, let him marry, for it restrains the gaze and guards the private parts.
🧑Youthسَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ ... وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ.
Seven will be shaded by Allah on the Day when there is no shade but His … among them a young person who grew up in the worship of Allah.
🧑Youthاغْتَنِمْ خَمْسًا قَبْلَ خَمْسٍ: شَبَابَكَ قَبْلَ هَرَمِكَ ... وَحَيَاتَكَ قَبْلَ مَوْتِكَ.
Take advantage of five before five: your youth before your old age … and your life before your death.
Mustadrak al-Hakim
🧑Youthلَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ عُمُرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ، وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ.
A servant's feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is asked about his life — how he spent it — and about his youth — how he wore it out.
🧑Youthإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الشَّابَّ التَّائِبَ.
Indeed Allah loves the young person who turns to Him in repentance.

🧑Youthاحْفَظِ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْكَ، احْفَظِ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ تُجَاهَكَ.
Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you; be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا، سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ.
Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ.
Whoever Allah wishes good for, He gives him understanding of the religion.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَتَضَعُ أَجْنِحَتَهَا لِطَالِبِ الْعِلْمِ رِضًا بِمَا يَصْنَعُ.
The angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge, pleased with what he does.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeمَنْ خَرَجَ فِي طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ.
Whoever goes out seeking knowledge is in the path of Allah until he returns.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeكَلِمَةُ الْحِكْمَةِ ضَالَّةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ، فَحَيْثُ وَجَدَهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا.
The word of wisdom is the lost property of the believer; wherever he finds it, he is most entitled to it.
📖Seekers of Knowledgeمَنْ سُئِلَ عَنْ عِلْمٍ فَكَتَمَهُ أُلْجِمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِلِجَامٍ مِنْ نَارٍ.
Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it will be bridled on the Day of Resurrection with a bridle of fire.
💰The Wealthyنِعْمَ الْمَالُ الصَّالِحُ لِلرَّجُلِ الصَّالِحِ.
How excellent is wholesome wealth in the hand of a righteous man.

💰The Wealthyمَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ، وَمَا زَادَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلَّا عِزًّا.
Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah increases none in honour except through forgiveness.
💰The Wealthyلَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ ... عَنْ مَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ.
A servant's feet will not move on the Day of Judgement until he is asked … about his wealth: how he earned it and how he spent it.
💰The Wealthyلَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللَّهُ مَالًا فَسَلَّطَهُ عَلَى هَلَكَتِهِ فِي الْحَقِّ.
There is no envy except in two cases: a man whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the way of truth.
💰The Wealthyالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى.
The upper hand (that gives) is better than the lower hand (that receives).
💰The Wealthyمَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يُصْبِحُ الْعِبَادُ فِيهِ إِلَّا مَلَكَانِ يَنْزِلَانِ، فَيَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا: اللَّهُمَّ أَعْطِ مُنْفِقًا خَلَفًا.
There is no day in which the servants wake but two angels descend, one saying: 'O Allah, give the one who spends a replacement.'
🍞The Poorانْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ، وَلَا تَنْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَكُمْ، فَهُوَ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ لَا تَزْدَرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ.
Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for it is more fitting that you not belittle Allah's favour upon you.
🍞The Poorإِنَّ فُقَرَاءَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِأَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا.
The poor among the emigrants will enter Paradise forty years before the rich among them.
🍞The Poorلَيْسَ الْغِنَى عَنْ كَثْرَةِ الْعَرَضِ، وَلَكِنَّ الْغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ.
Richness is not in abundance of goods; rather, richness is the richness of the soul.
🍞The Poorقَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ، وَرُزِقَ كَفَافًا، وَقَنَّعَهُ اللَّهُ بِمَا آتَاهُ.
Successful is the one who submits, is granted sufficiency, and whom Allah makes content with what He has given him.
🍞The Poorاللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مِسْكِينًا، وَأَمِتْنِي مِسْكِينًا، وَاحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَةِ الْمَسَاكِينِ.
O Allah, keep me alive as one humble, cause me to die humble, and resurrect me among the humble poor.
🍞The Poorلَيْسَ الْمِسْكِينُ الَّذِي تَرُدُّهُ التَّمْرَةُ وَالتَّمْرَتَانِ ... وَلَكِنِ الْمِسْكِينُ الَّذِي لَا يَجِدُ غِنًى يُغْنِيهِ، وَلَا يُفْطَنُ لَهُ فَيُتَصَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِ.
The needy one is not he whom a date or two turns away … rather the needy one is he who finds no wealth to suffice him, yet is not noticed so that he might be given charity.
👑Leaders & Rulersكُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ، فَالْإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ مَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ.
Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The leader is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.
👑Leaders & Rulersمَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَسْتَرْعِيهِ اللَّهُ رَعِيَّةً، يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَهُوَ غَاشٌّ لِرَعِيَّتِهِ، إِلَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ.
There is no servant whom Allah places in charge of subjects and who dies while cheating them, but Allah forbids Paradise to him.
👑Leaders & Rulersإِنَّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَلَى مَنَابِرَ مِنْ نُورٍ ... الَّذِينَ يَعْدِلُونَ فِي حُكْمِهِمْ وَأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَا وَلُوا.
The just will be with Allah upon pulpits of light … those who are fair in their judgements, with their families, and in what they are entrusted with.
👑Leaders & Rulersاللَّهُمَّ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاشْقُقْ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ رَفَقَ بِهِمْ فَارْفُقْ بِهِ.
O Allah, whoever is put in charge of any affair of my nation and is harsh with them, be harsh with him; and whoever is gentle with them, be gentle with him.
👑Leaders & Rulersمَا مِنْ أَمِيرٍ يَلِي أَمْرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجْهَدُ لَهُمْ وَيَنْصَحُ إِلَّا لَمْ يَدْخُلْ مَعَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ.
There is no leader who takes charge of the affairs of the Muslims and then does not strive for them and give them sincere counsel, but he will not enter Paradise with them.
👑Leaders & Rulersالْإِمَامُ الْعَادِلُ ... سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ.
A just ruler is among the seven whom Allah will shade on the Day when there is no shade but His.
⚖️Tradersالتَّاجِرُ الصَّدُوقُ الْأَمِينُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ.
The truthful, trustworthy merchant will be with the Prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.
⚖️Tradersمَنْ غَشَّ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي.
Whoever cheats is not one of us.
⚖️Tradersرَحِمَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا سَمْحًا إِذَا بَاعَ، وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى، وَإِذَا اقْتَضَى.
May Allah have mercy on a man who is lenient when he sells, when he buys, and when he demands repayment.
⚖️Tradersالْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، فَإِنْ صَدَقَا وَبَيَّنَا بُورِكَ لَهُمَا فِي بَيْعِهِمَا.
The two parties to a sale have the option (to cancel) as long as they have not parted; if they are truthful and clear, their transaction will be blessed for them.
⚖️Tradersمَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى سِلْعَتِهِ لَقَدْ أَعْطَى بِهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَى، وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ، لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ.
Whoever swears falsely regarding his goods that he was offered more for them than he actually was will meet Allah while He is angry with him.
⚖️Tradersالْحَلِفُ مَنْفَقَةٌ لِلسِّلْعَةِ، مَمْحَقَةٌ لِلْبَرَكَةِ.
Swearing (excessively) may sell the goods, but it wipes out the blessing.
🏘️Neighboursمَا زَالَ جِبْرِيلُ يُوصِينِي بِالْجَارِ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُوَرِّثُهُ.
Gabriel kept advising me concerning the neighbour until I thought he would make him an heir.
🏘️Neighboursوَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ، وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ، وَاللَّهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ. قِيلَ: مَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: الَّذِي لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ.
By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! By Allah, he does not believe! It was asked, "Who, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "The one whose neighbour is not safe from his harm."
🏘️Neighboursمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ.
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his neighbour.
🏘️Neighboursيَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ، إِذَا طَبَخْتَ مَرَقَةً فَأَكْثِرْ مَاءَهَا، وَتَعَاهَدْ جِيرَانَكَ.
O Abu Dharr, when you cook a broth, add more water to it and take care of your neighbours.
🏘️Neighboursخَيْرُ الْجِيرَانِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لِجَارِهِ.
The best of neighbours in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbour.
🏘️Neighboursلَا يَمْنَعْ جَارٌ جَارَهُ أَنْ يَغْرِزَ خَشَبَهُ فِي جِدَارِهِ.
Let no neighbour prevent his neighbour from fixing a beam in his wall.
🧳Travellersالسَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ، يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ وَنَوْمَهُ، فَإِذَا قَضَى نَهْمَتَهُ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ.
Travel is a portion of torment; it keeps one of you from his food, drink, and sleep. So when one has fulfilled his purpose, let him hasten back to his family.
🧳Travellersثَلَاثُ دَعَوَاتٍ مُسْتَجَابَاتٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيهِنَّ: دَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْمُسَافِرِ، وَدَعْوَةُ الْوَالِدِ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ.
Three supplications are answered without doubt: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveller, and the supplication of the parent for his child.
🧳Travellersإِذَا كُنْتُمْ ثَلَاثَةً فِي سَفَرٍ فَأَمِّرُوا أَحَدَكُمْ.
When three of you are on a journey, let one of you be the leader.
🧳Travellersإِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي الْخِصْبِ فَأَعْطُوا الْإِبِلَ حَظَّهَا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، وَإِذَا سَافَرْتُمْ فِي السَّنَةِ فَأَسْرِعُوا عَلَيْهَا السَّيْرَ.
When you travel in a fertile land, give the camels their share of the ground; and when you travel in a barren time, hasten your pace upon them.
🧳Travellersاللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الصَّاحِبُ فِي السَّفَرِ، وَالْخَلِيفَةُ فِي الْأَهْلِ.
O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the Guardian of the family (left behind).
🧳Travellersلَا تَصْحَبُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ رُفْقَةً فِيهَا كَلْبٌ وَلَا جَرَسٌ.
The angels do not accompany a travelling party that has with it a dog or a bell.
🤒The Sickمَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ ... حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا، إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ.
No fatigue, illness … not even a thorn that pricks him befalls a Muslim, but that Allah expiates some of his sins by it.
🤒The Sickمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي خُرْفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ.
Whoever visits a sick person remains in the harvest of Paradise until he returns.
🤒The Sickعَجَبًا لِأَمْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِ، إِنَّ أَمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ ... إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ صَبَرَ فَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُ.
How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for all his affairs are good … if hardship befalls him he is patient, and that is good for him.
🤒The Sickمَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا نَادَاهُ مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ: طِبْتَ وَطَابَ مَمْشَاكَ، وَتَبَوَّأْتَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلًا.
Whoever visits a sick person, a caller from the heaven calls out: 'You are good and your walk is good, and you have taken a dwelling in Paradise.'
🤒The Sickمَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مُسْلِمًا غُدْوَةً إِلَّا صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ.
No Muslim visits a sick Muslim in the morning but seventy thousand angels send blessings upon him until evening.
🤒The Sickأَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ ... سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ إِلَّا عُوفِيَ.
Whoever visits a sick person whose term has not come, and says seven times: 'I ask Allah the Magnificent, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to cure you,' he will be cured.
🌸Womenاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ فِي النِّسَاءِ، فَإِنَّكُمْ أَخَذْتُمُوهُنَّ بِأَمَانَةِ اللَّهِ.
Fear Allah concerning women, for you have taken them as a trust from Allah.
🌸Womenالدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ، وَخَيْرُ مَتَاعِ الدُّنْيَا الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ.
The world is provision, and the best provision of the world is a righteous woman.
🌸Womenمَنْ عَالَ جَارِيَتَيْنِ حَتَّى تَبْلُغَا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنَا وَهُوَ ... كَهَاتَيْنِ.
Whoever cares for two daughters until they reach maturity will come on the Day of Resurrection with me like these two (fingers).
🌸Womenإِذَا صَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خَمْسَهَا، وَصَامَتْ شَهْرَهَا، وَحَفِظَتْ فَرْجَهَا، وَأَطَاعَتْ زَوْجَهَا، دَخَلَتْ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَتْ.
If a woman prays her five (prayers), fasts her month, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, she may enter Paradise from whichever of its gates she wishes.

🌸Womenخَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ صَالِحُ نِسَاءِ قُرَيْشٍ، أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدٍ فِي صِغَرِهِ، وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ.
The best of women are the righteous women of Quraysh: the most affectionate to a child in its infancy, and the most caring of a husband's possessions.
🌸Womenإِنَّمَا النِّسَاءُ شَقَائِقُ الرِّجَالِ.
Indeed women are the twin halves of men.
🧒Childrenلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا وَيُوَقِّرْ كَبِيرَنَا.
He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and respect to our elders.
🧒Childrenمُرُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ بِالصَّلَاةِ وَهُمْ أَبْنَاءُ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ.
Command your children to pray when they are seven years old.
🧒Childrenمَا نَحَلَ وَالِدٌ وَلَدًا مِنْ نَحْلٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَدَبٍ حَسَنٍ.
No father gives his child a gift better than good manners.
🧒Childrenمَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ.
Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.
🧒Childrenاعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَوْلَادِكُمْ، اعْدِلُوا بَيْنَ أَبْنَائِكُمْ.
Be just between your children, be just between your sons.
🧒Childrenكُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ.
Every child is born upon the natural disposition (fitrah); it is his parents who make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magian.
🕊️The Grievingإِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ، وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى، وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى، فَلْتَصْبِرْ وَلْتَحْتَسِبْ.
To Allah belongs what He took and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him is for an appointed term — so be patient and seek reward.
🕊️The Grievingمَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يُصِيبُهُ أَذًى ... إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ سَيِّئَاتِهِ كَمَا تَحُطُّ الشَّجَرَةُ وَرَقَهَا.
No harm befalls a Muslim but that Allah wipes away his sins by it, as a tree sheds its leaves.
🕊️The Grievingمَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ ... إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ.
No worry or grief befalls the believer but that Allah expiates by it some of his sins.
🕊️The Grievingمَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ تُصِيبُهُ مُصِيبَةٌ فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا، إِلَّا أَخْلَفَ اللَّهُ لَهُ خَيْرًا مِنْهَا.
There is no servant struck by a calamity who says: 'Indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we return; O Allah, reward me in my affliction and give me something better in its place,' but Allah gives him something better in its place.
🕊️The Grievingمَنْ عَزَّى مُصَابًا فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ.
Whoever consoles one struck by affliction will have a reward like his.
🕊️The Grievingيَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ.
Allah says: 'My believing servant has no reward with Me, when I take a beloved one from the people of the world and he bears it patiently seeking reward, except Paradise.'
👨🏫Teachersإِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ وَأَهْلَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِينَ ... لَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَى مُعَلِّمِ النَّاسِ الْخَيْرَ.
Indeed Allah, His angels, and the inhabitants of the heavens and the earths send blessings upon the one who teaches people good.
👨🏫Teachersمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ، لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا.
Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that diminishing their rewards in the least.
👨🏫Teachersخَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ.
The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.
👨🏫Teachersإِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ مُعَلِّمًا.
I was only sent as a teacher.
👨🏫Teachersيَسِّرُوا وَلَا تُعَسِّرُوا، وَبَشِّرُوا وَلَا تُنَفِّرُوا.
Make things easy and do not make them difficult; give glad tidings and do not repel people.
👨🏫Teachersإِذَا مَاتَ الْإِنْسَانُ انْقَطَعَ عَنْهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ ... أَوْ عِلْمٍ يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ.
When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three … or knowledge from which benefit is derived.
🎓Studentsمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَطْلُبُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَلَكَ اللَّهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا مِنْ طُرُقِ الْجَنَّةِ.
Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make him travel a path to Paradise.
🎓Studentsطَلَبُ الْعِلْمِ فَرِيضَةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ.
Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.
🎓Studentsنَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا شَيْئًا فَبَلَّغَهُ كَمَا سَمِعَ.
May Allah brighten the face of a person who hears something from us and conveys it as he heard it.
🎓Studentsمَنْ تَعَلَّمَ عِلْمًا مِمَّا يُبْتَغَى بِهِ وَجْهُ اللَّهِ لَا يَتَعَلَّمُهُ إِلَّا لِيُصِيبَ بِهِ عَرَضًا مِنَ الدُّنْيَا، لَمْ يَجِدْ عَرْفَ الْجَنَّةِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
Whoever learns knowledge by which the Face of Allah should be sought, learning it only to attain some worldly gain, will not smell the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection.
🎓Studentsمَنْ جَاءَ مَسْجِدِي هَذَا لَمْ يَأْتِهِ إِلَّا لِخَيْرٍ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ أَوْ يُعَلِّمُهُ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ.
Whoever comes to this mosque of mine only to learn some good or teach it is like one who strives in the path of Allah.
🎓Studentsتَعَلَّمُوا الْعِلْمَ، وَتَعَلَّمُوا لِلْعِلْمِ السَّكِينَةَ وَالْوَقَارَ، وَتَوَاضَعُوا لِمَنْ تَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُ.
Learn knowledge, and for knowledge learn tranquillity and dignity, and be humble towards the one from whom you learn.
al-Mu‘jam al-Kabir (Tabarani)
🧑💼Employersأَعْطُوا الْأَجِيرَ أَجْرَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِفَّ عَرَقُهُ.
Give the worker his wages before his sweat dries.
🧑💼Employersقَالَ اللَّهُ: ثَلَاثَةٌ أَنَا خَصْمُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ... وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَأْجَرَ أَجِيرًا فَاسْتَوْفَى مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُعْطِهِ أَجْرَهُ.
Allah said: 'Three I will oppose on the Day of Resurrection … and a man who hires a labourer, takes full work from him, but does not give him his wages.'
🧑💼Employersإِخْوَانُكُمْ خَوَلُكُمْ جَعَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ تَحْتَ أَيْدِيكُمْ، فَمَنْ كَانَ أَخُوهُ تَحْتَ يَدِهِ فَلْيُطْعِمْهُ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ، وَلْيُلْبِسْهُ مِمَّا يَلْبَسُ.
Your subordinates are your brothers whom Allah has placed under your authority. So whoever has his brother under his authority, let him feed him from what he eats and clothe him from what he wears.
🧑💼Employersوَلَا تُكَلِّفُوهُمْ مَا يَغْلِبُهُمْ، فَإِنْ كَلَّفْتُمُوهُمْ فَأَعِينُوهُمْ.
Do not burden them (your workers) with what overwhelms them; and if you do burden them, then help them.
🧑💼Employersمَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ.
Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him.
🧑💼Employersكَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ إِثْمًا أَنْ يَحْبِسَ عَمَّنْ يَمْلِكُ قُوتَهُ.
It is enough sin for a person to withhold sustenance from those whose provision is in his charge.

🛠️Workers & Employeesإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ إِذَا عَمِلَ أَحَدُكُمْ عَمَلًا أَنْ يُتْقِنَهُ.
Indeed Allah loves that when one of you does a work, he does it with excellence.
al-Bayhaqi, Shu‘ab al-Iman
🛠️Workers & Employeesمَا أَكَلَ أَحَدٌ طَعَامًا قَطُّ خَيْرًا مِنْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْ عَمَلِ يَدِهِ.
No one has ever eaten better food than that which he eats from the work of his own hands.
🛠️Workers & Employeesالْعَبْدُ إِذَا نَصَحَ لِسَيِّدِهِ وَأَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ فَلَهُ أَجْرُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ.
When a servant is sincere to his master and worships his Lord well, he has his reward twice over.
🛠️Workers & Employeesلَأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ حَبْلَهُ فَيَأْتِيَ بِحُزْمَةِ الْحَطَبِ ... خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ.
For one of you to take his rope and bring a bundle of firewood … is better for him than to beg from people.
🛠️Workers & Employeesالْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى شُرُوطِهِمْ.
The Muslims are bound by their conditions (agreements).
🛠️Workers & Employeesإِنَّ أَطْيَبَ مَا أَكَلْتُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ، وَإِنَّ أَوْلَادَكُمْ مِنْ كَسْبِكُمْ.
The best of what you eat is from your own earning, and indeed your children are (part) of your earning.
🧓The Elderlyلَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَرْحَمْ صَغِيرَنَا، وَيَعْرِفْ حَقَّ كَبِيرِنَا.
He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and acknowledge the right of our elders.
🧓The Elderlyمَا أَكْرَمَ شَابٌّ شَيْخًا لِسِنِّهِ إِلَّا قَيَّضَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَنْ يُكْرِمُهُ عِنْدَ سِنِّهِ.
No young person honours an elder because of his age but that Allah appoints for him someone to honour him in his old age.
🧓The Elderlyإِنَّ مِنْ إِجْلَالِ اللَّهِ إِكْرَامَ ذِي الشَّيْبَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ.
Part of glorifying Allah is honouring the grey-haired Muslim.
🧓The Elderlyخَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ طَالَ عُمُرُهُ وَحَسُنَ عَمَلُهُ.
The best of you is the one whose life is long and whose deeds are good.
🧓The Elderlyالْبَرَكَةُ مَعَ أَكَابِرِكُمْ.
Blessing is with your elders.
al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim)
🧓The Elderlyكَبِّرْ كَبِّرْ، لِيَبْدَأِ الْأَكْبَرُ.
Let the elder begin — give precedence to the eldest.
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansأَنَا وَكَافِلُ الْيَتِيمِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ هَكَذَا، وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى.
I and the one who sponsors an orphan will be in Paradise like this — and he pointed with his index and middle fingers.
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansخَيْرُ بَيْتٍ فِي الْمُسْلِمِينَ بَيْتٌ فِيهِ يَتِيمٌ يُحْسَنُ إِلَيْهِ.
The best house among the Muslims is one in which there is an orphan who is treated well.
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansاجْتَنِبُوا السَّبْعَ الْمُوبِقَاتِ ... وَأَكْلُ مَالِ الْيَتِيمِ.
Avoid the seven destructive sins … among them consuming the wealth of the orphan.
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansمَنْ ضَمَّ يَتِيمًا بَيْنَ أَبَوَيْنِ مُسْلِمَيْنِ إِلَى طَعَامِهِ وَشَرَابِهِ حَتَّى يَسْتَغْنِيَ عَنْهُ، وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ.
Whoever takes in an orphan of Muslim parents to his food and drink until he becomes independent, Paradise becomes obligatory for him.
al-Mu‘jam al-Awsat (Tabarani)
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansإِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ أَمْوَالَ الْيَتَامَى ظُلْمًا إِنَّمَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ نَارًا.
Those who consume the wealth of orphans unjustly only consume fire into their bellies.
🧸Orphans & Their Guardiansوَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ.
Allah remains in the aid of His servant so long as the servant is in the aid of his brother.
🍽️Guests & Hostsمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ.
Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honour his guest.
🍽️Guests & Hostsالضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ، فَمَا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ.
Hospitality is (guaranteed) for three days; whatever is beyond that is charity.
🍽️Guests & Hostsلَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يُقِيمَ عِنْدَ أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يُؤْثِمَهُ. قَالُوا: كَيْفَ يُؤْثِمُهُ؟ قَالَ: يُقِيمُ عِنْدَهُ وَلَا شَيْءَ لَهُ يَقْرِيهِ بِهِ.
It is not lawful for a man to stay with his brother until he makes him sin. They said, 'How does he make him sin?' He said, 'By staying with him when he has nothing left to offer him.'
🍽️Guests & Hostsطَعَامُ الِاثْنَيْنِ كَافِي الثَّلَاثَةِ، وَطَعَامُ الثَّلَاثَةِ كَافِي الْأَرْبَعَةِ.
The food of two suffices for three, and the food of three suffices for four.
🍽️Guests & Hostsمَنْ دُعِيَ فَلْيُجِبْ، فَإِنْ شَاءَ طَعِمَ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ.
Whoever is invited, let him respond; then if he wishes he may eat, and if he wishes he may refrain.
🍽️Guests & Hostsإِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ فَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ وَعِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ، قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ: لَا مَبِيتَ لَكُمْ وَلَا عَشَاءَ.
When a man enters his house and remembers Allah upon entering and at his meal, Satan says: 'You have no lodging and no supper.'
⛓️The Oppressedاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ.
Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah.
⛓️The Oppressedوَاللَّهِ لَا يَظْلِمُ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا، وَالظُّلْمُ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
By Allah, Allah wrongs no one; and injustice will be darkness upon darkness on the Day of Resurrection.
⛓️The Oppressedثَلَاثَةٌ لَا تُرَدُّ دَعْوَتُهُمْ ... وَدَعْوَةُ الْمَظْلُومِ يَرْفَعُهَا اللَّهُ فَوْقَ الْغَمَامِ.
Three whose supplication is not rejected … and the supplication of the oppressed, which Allah raises above the clouds.
⛓️The Oppressedانْصُرْ أَخَاكَ ظَالِمًا أَوْ مَظْلُومًا. قَالُوا: هَذَا نَنْصُرُهُ مَظْلُومًا، فَكَيْفَ نَنْصُرُهُ ظَالِمًا؟ قَالَ: تَمْنَعُهُ مِنَ الظُّلْمِ.
Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed. They asked, 'We help him if he is oppressed, but how do we help him if he is an oppressor?' He said, 'By preventing him from oppression.'
⛓️The Oppressedمَنْ كَانَتْ عِنْدَهُ مَظْلِمَةٌ لِأَخِيهِ فَلْيَتَحَلَّلْهُ مِنْهَا الْيَوْمَ، قَبْلَ أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ دِينَارٌ وَلَا دِرْهَمٌ.
Whoever has wronged his brother should seek his pardon today, before there will be no dinar or dirham (to settle it).
⛓️The Oppressedإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ.
Indeed Allah gives respite to the wrongdoer, but when He seizes him, He does not let him escape.
🔥The Angryلَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ.
The strong one is not the good wrestler; rather, the strong one is he who controls himself when angry.
🔥The Angryلَا تَغْضَبْ. فَرَدَّدَ مِرَارًا، قَالَ: لَا تَغْضَبْ.
A man said, 'Advise me.' He ﷺ said, 'Do not become angry.' The man repeated his request several times, and he said, 'Do not become angry.'
🔥The Angryإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ فَلْيَجْلِسْ، فَإِنْ ذَهَبَ عَنْهُ الْغَضَبُ وَإِلَّا فَلْيَضْطَجِعْ.
When one of you becomes angry while standing, let him sit down; if the anger leaves him, well and good, otherwise let him lie down.
🔥The Angryمَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ، دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ.
Whoever restrains his anger while able to act upon it, Allah will call him before all creation and let him choose from the maidens of Paradise as he wishes.
🔥The Angryإِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ كَلِمَةً لَوْ قَالَهَا لَذَهَبَ عَنْهُ مَا يَجِدُ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ.
I know a word which, if he said it, his anger would go away: 'I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.'
🔥The Angryمَا مِنْ جُرْعَةٍ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ جُرْعَةِ غَيْظٍ كَظَمَهَا عَبْدٌ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ.
There is no gulp greater in reward with Allah than a gulp of anger that a servant swallows, seeking the Face of Allah.
🌧️The Tested & Afflictedإِنَّ عِظَمَ الْجَزَاءِ مَعَ عِظَمِ الْبَلَاءِ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا ابْتَلَاهُمْ.
The greatness of the reward is with the greatness of the trial; and when Allah loves a people, He tests them.
🌧️The Tested & Afflictedمَا يَزَالُ الْبَلَاءُ بِالْمُؤْمِنِ وَالْمُؤْمِنَةِ ... حَتَّى يَلْقَى اللَّهَ وَمَا عَلَيْهِ خَطِيئَةٌ.
Trials continue to befall the believing man and woman … until they meet Allah with no sin upon them.
🌧️The Tested & Afflictedأَشَدُّ النَّاسِ بَلَاءً الْأَنْبِيَاءُ، ثُمَّ الْأَمْثَلُ فَالْأَمْثَلُ.
The most severely tested of people are the Prophets, then those most like them, and then the next.
🌧️The Tested & Afflictedإِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا سَبَقَتْ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ مَنْزِلَةٌ لَمْ يَبْلُغْهَا بِعَمَلِهِ، ابْتَلَاهُ اللَّهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ أَوْ مَالِهِ أَوْ وَلَدِهِ.
When a servant has a rank with Allah that his deeds have not reached, Allah tests him in his body, wealth, or child (so that he may attain it).
🌧️The Tested & Afflictedوَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّصْرَ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ، وَأَنَّ الْفَرَجَ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ، وَأَنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا.
Know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and with hardship comes ease.

🌧️The Tested & Afflictedمَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُصِبْ مِنْهُ.
When Allah intends good for someone, He afflicts him (with trials).
🌱New Muslimsالْإِسْلَامُ يَهْدِمُ مَا كَانَ قَبْلَهُ.
Islam wipes out whatever (sins) came before it.

🌱New Muslimsبُنِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَى خَمْسٍ: شَهَادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَإِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ، وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ، وَحَجِّ الْبَيْتِ، وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ.
Islam is built upon five: the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, giving zakah, pilgrimage to the House, and fasting Ramadan.
🌱New Muslimsإِنَّ الدِّينَ يُسْرٌ، وَلَنْ يُشَادَّ الدِّينَ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا غَلَبَهُ، فَسَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا.
Indeed the religion is ease; no one overburdens himself in religion but that it overwhelms him. So aim for what is right, be moderate.
🌱New Muslimsإِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ، وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى.
Actions are but by intentions, and every person shall have only that which he intended.
🌱New Muslimsقُلْ: آمَنْتُ بِاللَّهِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَقِمْ.
Say: 'I believe in Allah,' and then remain steadfast.
🌱New Muslimsمَنْ حَسُنَ إِسْلَامُ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ.
Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is his leaving what does not concern him.
🤵Husbandsخَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِهِ، وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي.
The best of you is the best of you to his family, and I am the best of you to my family.
🤵Husbandsلَا يَفْرَكْ مُؤْمِنٌ مُؤْمِنَةً، إِنْ كَرِهَ مِنْهَا خُلُقًا رَضِيَ مِنْهَا آخَرَ.
Let no believing man hate a believing woman; if he dislikes one of her traits he will be pleased with another.
🤵Husbandsأَكْمَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا، وَخِيَارُكُمْ خِيَارُكُمْ لِنِسَائِهِمْ خُلُقًا.
The most complete believers in faith are the best in character, and the best of you are the best to their wives in conduct.
🤵Husbandsوَاسْتَوْصُوا بِالنِّسَاءِ خَيْرًا، فَإِنَّهُنَّ خُلِقْنَ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ ... فَإِنِ اسْتَمْتَعْتَ بِهَا اسْتَمْتَعْتَ بِهَا وَبِهَا عِوَجٌ.
Treat women kindly, for they were created from a rib … if you enjoy her, you enjoy her while some crookedness remains; and if you try to straighten her, you break her.
🤵Husbandsإِذَا دَعَا الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ ... وَأَنْفَقَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ سَعَتِهِ.
A man is rewarded for spending on his wife out of his means and providing for her, seeking Allah's Face.
🤵Husbandsأَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَةِ مَا كَانَ عَنْ ظَهْرِ غِنًى، وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ.
The best charity is that given out of sufficiency; and begin with those you are responsible for (your dependents).
👰Wivesإِذَا صَلَّتِ الْمَرْأَةُ خَمْسَهَا، وَصَامَتْ شَهْرَهَا، وَحَصَّنَتْ فَرْجَهَا، وَأَطَاعَتْ زَوْجَهَا، قِيلَ لَهَا: ادْخُلِي الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شِئْتِ.
When a woman prays her five, fasts her month, guards her chastity and obeys her husband, it is said to her: 'Enter Paradise from whichever of its gates you wish.'

👰Wivesخَيْرُ النِّسَاءِ الَّتِي تَسُرُّهُ إِذَا نَظَرَ، وَتُطِيعُهُ إِذَا أَمَرَ، وَلَا تُخَالِفُهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِهِ بِمَا يَكْرَهُ.
The best of women is one who pleases him when he looks at her, obeys him when he instructs her, and does not oppose him regarding herself or his wealth in a way he dislikes.

👰Wivesالدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ، وَخَيْرُ مَتَاعِ الدُّنْيَا الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ.
The world is provision, and the best provision of the world is a righteous woman.
👰Wivesلَوْ كُنْتُ آمِرًا أَحَدًا أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا.
Were I to command anyone to prostrate to another, I would command the wife to prostrate to her husband (to show the greatness of his right).
👰Wivesأَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ مَاتَتْ وَزَوْجُهَا عَنْهَا رَاضٍ دَخَلَتِ الْجَنَّةَ.
Any woman who dies while her husband is pleased with her will enter Paradise.
👰Wivesإِنَّمَا النِّسَاءُ شَقَائِقُ الرِّجَالِ.
Indeed women are the twin halves of men.
📉The Debtorمَنْ أَخَذَ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ يُرِيدُ أَدَاءَهَا أَدَّى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، وَمَنْ أَخَذَ يُرِيدُ إِتْلَافَهَا أَتْلَفَهُ اللَّهُ.
Whoever takes people's money intending to repay it, Allah will repay it on his behalf; and whoever takes it intending to squander it, Allah will destroy him.
📉The Debtorمَطْلُ الْغَنِيِّ ظُلْمٌ.
A wealthy person delaying repayment (of a debt) is injustice.
📉The Debtorكَانَ ﷺ يَدْعُو: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ.
The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from sin and from debt.'
📉The Debtorمَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُعْسِرٍ، أَوْ وَضَعَ عَنْهُ، أَظَلَّهُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ.
Whoever grants respite to one in difficulty, or waives (his debt), Allah will shade him in His shade.
📉The Debtorنَفْسُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ.
The soul of the believer is held hostage by his debt until it is paid off on his behalf.
📉The Debtorاللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ.
O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have forbidden, and enrich me by Your bounty so I have no need of anyone besides You.
🤲The Charitableالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يُطْفِئُ الْمَاءُ النَّارَ.
Charity extinguishes sin just as water extinguishes fire.
🤲The Charitableكُلُّ امْرِئٍ فِي ظِلِّ صَدَقَتِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ.
Everyone will be in the shade of his charity until judgement is passed among people.

🤲The Charitableاتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ.
Protect yourselves from the Fire, even with (giving) half a date.
🤲The Charitableسَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ ... وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لَا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ يَمِينُهُ.
Seven will Allah shade … among them a man who gives charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given.
🤲The Charitableمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بِعَدْلِ تَمْرَةٍ مِنْ كَسْبٍ طَيِّبٍ ... فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَتَقَبَّلُهَا بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ يُرَبِّيهَا لِصَاحِبِهَا.
Whoever gives in charity the equivalent of a date from lawful earnings … Allah accepts it in His right hand and nurtures it for its owner (until it becomes like a mountain).
🤲The Charitableمَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ.
Charity does not decrease wealth.
🌙The Fastingمَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ.
Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward will have his previous sins forgiven.
🌙The Fastingالصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ، فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ صَوْمِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَرْفُثْ وَلَا يَصْخَبْ.
Fasting is a shield; so when it is the day one of you fasts, let him not utter obscenity or raise his voice.
🌙The Fastingلِلصَّائِمِ فَرْحَتَانِ: فَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ فِطْرِهِ، وَفَرْحَةٌ عِنْدَ لِقَاءِ رَبِّهِ.
The fasting person has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast, and a joy when he meets his Lord.
🌙The Fastingإِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ، يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ الصَّائِمُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
In Paradise there is a gate called Ar-Rayyan, through which the fasting will enter on the Day of Resurrection.
🌙The Fastingمَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ، فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ فِي أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ.
Whoever does not abandon false speech and acting upon it, Allah has no need of his giving up his food and drink.
🌙The Fastingإِذَا أَقْبَلَ اللَّيْلُ مِنْ هَاهُنَا، وَأَدْبَرَ النَّهَارُ مِنْ هَاهُنَا، فَقَدْ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ.
When the night approaches from here and the day departs from there, then the fasting person breaks his fast.
