The Qur’an text
The Arabic is the Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim reading in ʿUthmānī script, served from a self-hosted flat file (Tanzil/alquran.cloud lineage). Scripts available: Uthmani (Madinah), Indo-Pak (Naskh), Imlāʾī (Simple). The Qur’anic text itself is never altered, normalised for display, or paraphrased — it is shown verbatim.
Translations
A translation is a human interpretation, not the Qur’an itself — so several are offered per language and the original Arabic always sits alongside. 86 editions across 58 languages are available, drawn from openly-available Muslim scholars translators (via alquran.cloud / Tanzil).

Each is attributed to its author/edition where shown. Tafsīr is scholarly explanation — it is labelled as such and kept distinct from the Qur’an’s own words and from practical advice.
Source policy (Ahl al-Sunnah)
Many upstream corpora are cross-sectarian. A source-gating layer excludes off-creed editions — Shia (Twelver/Ismāʿīlī) and Muʿtazilī tafsīr are filtered out by both name-keyword matchers and an explicit denied-edition list — so what ships stays within the Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamāʿah.
Hadith & grading
Hadith are shown with their collection, book/number, and grade (Ṣaḥīḥ/Ḥasan/Ḍaʿīf) attributed to the grading authority (e.g. al-Albānī, Shuʿayb al-Arnaʾūṭ, Zubair ʿAlī Zaʾī). Weak (ḍaʿīf) narrations are labelled, not hidden, and are never used to ground a definitive ruling.
Topic & concept links
Verse-to-topic and mind-map links are AUTOMATED (from the Integrated Islamic Ontology, CC-BY, and extracted topic tables). They are a study aid for exploration — clearly labelled as an automated index, NOT a tafsīr, and never presented as a ruling.
What is reviewed vs automated
Honest status: (1) Qur’an text & translations = established public editions, shown verbatim. (2) Hadith grades = as recorded by the cited authority. (3) Topic/mind-map/concept associations = automated, labelled. (4) The AI answer engine is a PILOT — its drafts are citation-verified but are being evaluated, and are not yet a substitute for a scholar. We do not claim scholar review where it has not happened.
Known limitations
Translation is interpretation and editions differ. Automated topic links can miss or over-reach. Some library texts are OCR-derived and may carry errors. A single verse’s full meaning needs its context and a trusted tafsīr — no card here replaces that.
