What Hidayah24 does — and does not do — with your data, in five lines.
No advertising
The website and the Android app carry no advertising and no advertising or tracking kits.
Usage statistics: anonymous and optional
Only a fixed list of event names (such as “page viewed” or “lesson completed”) with a few fixed labels like the page type and the language. Never what you type or search, never your account, never a device identifier. They go only to our own server, which keeps daily totals. They are off when your browser sends Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control, and you can switch them off on the Privacy page.
Prayer times are worked out on your device
On Prayer Times, Today and the Home page, the times are calculated on your device. The location you set stays in this browser: it is not sent to our server and not copied to your account.
Two features that do send your position — only when you use them
In Adhan settings, “use this device’s location” asks an external prayer-time service for the day’s times. The Mosque finder sends your position to a public map-data service to find places near you.
Your study stays with you
Bookmarks, progress and notes are kept in this browser. If you sign in, parts of your study progress are also kept with your account so they follow you to your other devices.
