Quoted as he wrote it. It is his assessment — Hidayah24 does not grade hadith.

Isnād — the people who carried this hadith

7 narrators · 0 identified

The printed Musnad begins with the book’s own transmission: «ḥaddathanā ʿAbd Allāh» is Aḥmad’s son ʿAbd Allāh (d. 290), who narrates the book from him, and «ḥaddathanī abī» is Aḥmad himself; the hadith’s own chain follows them.

  1. Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal (d. 241)(compiler)
  5. عن
  6. عن
  8. عن
  9. The Prophet ﷺ

Names are exactly as printed. A narrator is identified only where that is certain; tapping any other name searches for the possible men. Grades are the rijāl works’ — reliable narrators alone do not make a hadith ṣaḥīḥ (irregularity and hidden defects are weighed too).
