Translation

A'isha reported that (once) the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him, ) was presented with beef. It was said (by someone) that it had been given to Barira as Sadaqa. Upon this he (the Prophet) said:It is a Sadaqa for her and a gift for us

This hadith has several chains (taḥwīl «ح»); the last one, which runs to the text, is shown.

Names are exactly as printed. A narrator is identified only where that is certain; tapping any other name searches for the possible men. Grades are the rijāl works’ — reliable narrators alone do not make a hadith ṣaḥīḥ (irregularity and hidden defects are weighed too).
