It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came back from Al-Baqi’ and I had a headache and was saying: ‘O my head!’ He said: ‘Rather, I should say, O my head, O ‘Aishah!’ Then he said: ‘It will not matter if you were to die before me, for I will take care of you, wash you, shroud you, offer the funeral prayer for you and bury you.’”

Names are exactly as printed. A narrator is identified only where that is certain; tapping any other name searches for the possible men. Grades are the rijāl works’ — reliable narrators alone do not make a hadith ṣaḥīḥ (irregularity and hidden defects are weighed too).
The hadith, its translation and grade are shown above. For more, change the depth or open the tabs: authenticity, commentary, related narrations and research material.
